March 29th, 2016 – CounterPunch Magazine: Hemp, Cannabis and Marijuana: What’s the Difference?

This is an article that I wrote about the difference between Hemp, Cannabis and Marijuana.  It is easy to get confused about the many subtle, and not so subtle differences between this amazing plant and its uses.  It is my hope that this article lends itself to clearing up some common misconceptions.  I worked hard to write an article that I thought people would find interesting and informative, and I hope you get a chance to read it!

December 6th, 2015 – Cannabis Now magazine: Paul Stanford: 40-Year Cannabis Activist Reflects on Legalization

This is probably one of the best articles ever written about me.  They really detail my long history of activism.  I am grateful that the writer Angela Bacca really took the time to conduct the necessary research to write an article this in-depth and informative.  Without going into too much detail here I hope that you will check out the article.

November 25th, 2015 – Newsweek: A Cannabis Crusader Brings the Fight for Legal Weed to America’s Heartland

A good article about an activist named Travis Maurer who has been working towards legalization for several years.  The article gives THCF a little credit by saying;

“A t-shirt reading ‘Potland Oregon – Pot Town’ is hung up for sale at the Hempstalk festival in Tom McCall Waterfront Park in Portland, Oregon on October 17. The festival was founded by the Hemp and Cannabis Foundation in 2005 and advocates for the decriminalization of marijuana for medicinal, industrial, and recreational use.”

You can’t beat free publicity!
